Distillery tours are the heart of the Bourbon Trail. We’ve picked our favorite distilleries across Kentucky to craft an itinerary that represents the best of the bourbon industry. We mix both the classics and hidden gems to give you the complete Kentucky experience.

The group dynamic makes a trip like this special - we experience the distilleries during the day and share great food and conversation in the evenings. We’ve intentionally kept the group small so that everyone will return to Picnic with lifelong friends.
Itinerary
Thursday
Arrive in Louisville for a 3-night stay at the Marriott Louisville Downtown. Afternoon distillery experience at Old Forester (4:00 PM). Evening welcome group dinner at Decade.
Friday
After breakfast at the hotel, we hit the trail early! Buffalo Trace for an early tour, photo opportunity at the stunning Castle & Key, gourmet box lunch en route, Woodford Reserve tour and tasting, and then spend late afternoon at historic Keeneland Race Track during the Spring meet.
Saturday
Leisurely morning start, then off to Willett Distillery for tour and lunch at The Bar. Swing into Heaven Hill for a few more bottles. Afternoon return to Louisville with free time to explore the city's bourbon scene, local attractions, and unique shopping. Optional group dinner or explore Louisville's renowned restaurant scene independently.
Sunday
Departure from Louisville after breakfast at the hotel.

$1,600 USD Per Person (double occupancy)
$2,050 USD Per Person (Single occupancy)
A deposit of $500 is due to secure your place on the trip. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The $1,600 price per person is based on double occupancy, two people sharing a room. If you are traveling on your own and okay with sharing a room, we’ll do our best to pair you up with another solo guest and the price does not change. If you want your own room or we can’t pair you up, there is a single supplement of $450 for a total of $2,050.
Early bird pricing ($100 off per person if booked before November 15. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour.
